Privacy Policy
Overview
Quordle values your privacy. We do not directly collect personal data such as your name, email address, or phone number.
However, the app uses third-party services (such as advertising and analytics providers) that may collect certain information as described below.
Information We Do Not Directly Collect
We do not directly collect or store:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Precise location data
- Any user-generated content stored on external servers
Local Data Storage
All gameplay data is stored locally on your device, including:
- Game progress and statistics
- Daily puzzle results and streaks
- Practice mode history
- App settings and preferences
This data is not transmitted to our servers and is not accessible by us.
No Account Required
Quordle does not require account registration. You can use the app without signing in.
Advertising
The app displays advertisements through Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect and use data such as:
- Device identifiers
- IP address
- Ad interaction data
Whether personalized or non-personalized ads are shown depends on the consent choices you make (see "Consent Management" below).
Analytics
The app uses analytics services provided by Google Firebase to help us understand how users interact with the app and improve user experience.
Firebase Analytics may collect information such as:
- Device information (e.g., device model, operating system)
- App usage data (e.g., gameplay events, session duration)
- General location information (country-level, inferred from IP address)
This data is collected in an aggregated and anonymized manner and is not used to directly identify individual users.
Consent Management
European Users (GDPR / EEA)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be presented with a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) when you first launch the app. This form lets you choose whether to allow data collection for analytics and personalized advertising.
- If you consent, Google services (such as AdMob and Firebase Analytics) may collect and use your data for analytics and personalized advertising.
- If you decline, only non-personalized ads will be shown, and analytics data collection will be limited or disabled where applicable.
You can change your consent choices at any time from the app settings or by reopening the consent form.
iOS Users (App Tracking Transparency)
On iOS 14.5 and later, you will be asked for permission to track your activity across apps and websites using Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can change your choice at any time in your device's Settings.
- If you allow tracking, your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) may be used for personalized advertising.
- If you deny tracking, no IDFA will be shared and only non-personalized ads will be shown.
Data Retention
We do not store personal data ourselves.
Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their respective privacy policies.

Location and Personal Information
We do not access your precise location. However, third-party services may infer general location (such as country-level) from your IP address.

Quordle is suitable for all ages.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will update the "Last updated" date accordingly. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Terms of Service
Usage Terms
- The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use only
- You may not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time
- We may update these Terms of Service, and continued use constitutes acceptance
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app if these terms are violated.

- The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
- We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app
